Who we are

Mulholland Studio is a boutique design practice locally rooted in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Our approach to interior design is done with intention and authenticity. Our work is guided by an aesthetic that draws from the natural world, historic architecture, and the lived experience of the unique people who inhabit a space. Our work reflects a quiet balance: minimal yet warm, modern without sacrificing depth. We’re drawn to natural textures, aged materials, and timeless forms, always with an emphasis on clarity, function, and beauty. What sets us apart is a deep connection to place. Our designs are not only inspired by the coastlines, woodlands, and historic towns of New England, they are shaped by them. We take care to incorporate those elements subtly and meaningfully into our work, creating homes that feel grounded and genuinely personal. Clients choose us not just for what we create, but for how we create it: with honesty, collaboration, and a shared excitement for what’s possible.

CASEY ROBINSON | FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Casey’s professional background is rooted in event planning and design. For more than a decade, she worked with clients to bring their dream events to life, whether an unforgettable wedding or an immersive themed corporate gathering. Through design, food, atmosphere, and entertainment, she crafted sensory experiences that sparked her passion for creating a meaningful sense of place.

Excelling in spatial design and gifted with the ability to visualize a space from concept to completion, Casey naturally transitioned her passion into interior design. Living for many years in Boston’s historic North End ignited her love of architectural character and timeless design. Her time working for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park deepened her appreciation for how a space can hold emotional resonance and create lasting connections.

A New England native, Casey spent summers fishing along the region’s coastal waters with her father, drawing inspiration from the natural landscapes. Her design philosophy is rooted in this connection to nature, the inherent character and structure of a home, and the individuality of it’s owners.
